My mom gave me some clay before preschool and I’ve been playing with it ever since. I love working with clay because the possibilities are endless. My ceramic work is primarily of organic shapes, sea life themed sculptures and fountain designs.

I began to work with glass in the 80's creating leaded stained glass panels at Brand Studio with Barbara McMillan. I went to an art show in the 90's  and was completely captivated by a fused glass room screen. I was hooked on the idea of working with hot glass and incorporating glass elements into my work. This led me back to school at Pasadena City College to ceramics with Phillip Cornelius and Jim Gonzales and to Cal State Fullerton, the nearest Cal State campus with a glass studio, to work with Don Ballwey, John Leighton, Vince Suez and Ken Takahashi. I graduated in 2006 after completing a Bachelor of Fine Art/ Ceramic and Glass degree.

I have an endless list of projects.  I am in the process of building a studio in 2008 in addition to working with my husband of 30+ years in our retail business and continue my explorations of the world for unique glass and ceramics.
